Ball joint socket size

Alright guys, I’ve struck out twice now on Ebay purchases of ball joint sockets. I need this for my ’66 300. Measuring ear to ear, the ball joints are 2 1/8″. I just received my second purchase, that is actually stamped “2 1/8″ ” and it’s too big. Are the measurements supposed to be the barrel of the ball joint head? What size would be correct?

If anyone needs one of these big-ass ball joint sockets, let me know. Otherwise, I’ll be using it as a deep water sinker for striper fishing!

Imperial wheels ’67-’68

Gentlemen, I’m looking for 3 Imperial wheels from either 1967 or 1968. I’ll take a set of 4 if you’re not willing to separate. There’s a set on Ebay that I could pick up right now but I’d rather give my hard earned c-notes to a fellow member. @detmatt and @SGT FURY I’m looking at you guys, but I’m not partial.

Thanks guys!

67-68 Auto pilot linkage

Would any of you guys who own a 67 or 68 be so kind as to snap a pic of where/how the Auto pilot linkage mounts? Mine is laying in the trunk and for the life of me, I can’t find any diagrams in the FSM.

Thanks guys!

Imperial wheels – backspacing differences?

Is there any difference with regards to backspacing on Imperial wheels from the slabs through formals? I need 3 factory wheels for my new blue beast (68 Crown Coupe). I found one on a 68 and two on a 73 at the yard this weekend but didn’t pull the trigger in case there was a difference on Budd vs. single piston cars. I’ve Google it and can’t find any good info.

Thanks guys!

68 Crown Coupe – Mystery Switch

Gentlemen, I’m sure someone with way more knowledge than I will identify this in no time. I looked in the owner’s manual and FSM and can’t find it. This leads me to believe that it’s for a top secret ejector seat, rocket launcher, or Red Rope licorice dispenser (a la Wayne’s World). It’s a little black slider on the rear passenger side arm rest. No clue what this could be for. Extra points for most creative answer but the real answer would be most appreciated as well! Thanks guys!…

68 Crown Coupe – Mystery Switch

Classing it up at the MetalmaniacAZ house

Well, after dreaming of adding an example of the pinnacle of Mopar luxury to my collection, I finally pulled the trigger on this 68 Crown Coupe. My 66 300 finally has a Mopar friend amongst our fleet of GM trucks. Big thanks to @detmatt for assisting on what to look for on these 67-68 beasts. This one popped up locally and while she needs A LOT of TLC, she is rock solid and was negotiated to a fair price. She’s an Arizona car and other than the surface crap under the…
