Hi I am building a wcfb for my 56 imperial, the check ball below the accelerator pump I have butchered, hit it too hard into the casting and now it is stuck solid down there, put new pump in, filled bowel and pumps great even though the checkball is stuck solid down there, my question is that ball meant to move and if so why, cause from my test the pump is working great with it locked solid down there, what’s the purpose of it, its butchered down there I can’t get it out, but its sealing…

hi my brother has a 340 which runs the mopar performance aluminium closed chamber heads and when the motor was built he had to use like a 100 thou gasket because the pistons hung out like 40 thou or whatever they hang out on a stock 340,my cousin is now building a 360 and has come across a set of the open chamber eddys,just an aluminum version of a j or x,my question isshould my brother swap him for the eddys so he has the correct 340 style open chambers and then he can go back to a normal…

just bought this vacuum pump off of summit,read through the instructions and i understand that i run one inlet to the booster(the one with the vacuum sticker on it)but the other outlet says to the engine,wherabouts on the engine,to the valve cover breather?i,ve got the mopar breathers…please see photo of my engine,wont it suck oil into the pump,how the hell do i hook this up correctly,i think i,ve bought a drag race item ????????????
