I’m in need of a new waterpump. I see them listed everywhere from $40 to $240..
What would be a “good” one ? and ofcourse for a reasonable price..
Good or bad experiences ?

Had them laying around for a while but last weekend I finally installed the gauges.
I don’t think they’re very accurate but what can you expect for about 5 $ a piece ánd dilivered to my front door all the way from the other side of the world

Oilpressure reads from 80 psi at start up to about 40-50 psi idling after warming up.
Watertemp is reading to high. My heatgun reads 180 to 200 F depending on where I point the laserbeam.
Volt is ok I think but maybe I have to hook it up…

Finally installed aftermarked gauges

I know it’s difficult to diagnose a noise made by the engine by looking and hearing a video.
This is what my engine ( a stock 383 2bbl ) does when reved up at 3000 rpm. Below that no noises. My first thoughts were the belts but after adjusting them a little tighter ( the alt/ac was a little loose) it made no difference.

Anybody here recognises this noise ?

My driverside upper ball joint dust boot is gone. What I noticed is that the inside diameter of the top of the boot is much wider( about 2.33 inch) than the diameter of the ball joint itself ( about 1.81 inch). Is there a wrong boot installed or am I missing something ? Hope the pic explains it.
And ofcourse looking for a replacement. So if there’s someone who can give me the exact dimensions of the ball joint maybe I can find one here:…
