I believe someone on this sight (Stan ?) posted an in flight profile picture of a P51D, and a Chrysler Fuselage coupe. The 2 pictures were a perfect comparison of the inspiration of the stylists that created the Fuselage body style.

I’ve searched on here but cannot find it.

Can anyone help me out ?

spotted this a few days ago on Mecum’s website for the Dallas auction this week. Surprised it went for $3300, I thought it would go for $2500’ish with the dented fender.

The odd thing is there was a 1990 Chrysler T/C that was a no sale at 33k.

Going to look at a 1968 Road Runner tomorrow. I have a picture of the fender tag, but the online decoders are not giving me much information. Can someone on here decide it for me ?

Would also like to know where to find any other identifying stamps in the body that would verify the it’s a true Road Runner.
