Feeling Blue
a rainy day and I’m sitting here watching thin man with Myrna Loy.
Husband is struggling and I can’t fix it. Wish my mom was alive to have one last cup of tea with.
So I broke into my stash of new dollar bills
Something about dollar bill folding that eases my mind.

Anybody in or near Toronto want to go check this out for me?

Fuel Pump Lesson Learned
I will admit I am a novice on car repair.
I learned a very valuable lesson regarding installing or generally mucking around with the mechanical fuel pump in my 87 Fifth Avenue.
Put a wrench on the connector shown by the red arrow if you plan on mucking with the fuel lines.

Today I decide to use the Silverado and my new tow rope to pull the chrysler out of its parking spot so I can get it to the trailer and take it to the mechanic.
I’m frustrated with my ignorance and inability to solve the fuel problem so I asked Michael if he would look at it and tell me what I’m doing wrong.
I so wish I lived close to someone who likes mucking with cars after work or on the weekends. Ah well.
So I get the ramps, the trailer hooked up to…
61 Pontiac Tempest Project
I have put this one off long enough.
I am the owner of a 1961 Pontiac Tempest 4-door sedan.
It has not run since the 70s when it was parked at my grandmother’s house in west texas.
When we sold grandma’s place, I opted to trailer it up to north texas where it has sat under the eaves of the white barn at the estate for about 11 years.
It has a trophy 4 engine (half a V-8) and is 195ci
A 112 inch wheelbase.
Manual shift
‘rope drive’ with transaxle in the rear.
Pictures to follow.
