Front Disc Caliper Bracket Bolts

I was driving my car the other day and heard a clunk like something fell off the car. Turns out it was one of the bolts on the driver front caliper bracket bolts with the other being quite loose…
The service manual says these are special nyloc bolts,…

73-74 Satellites in the Junk Yard

A friend of mine was in the junk yard today and sent me some pictures of a pair of Satellites headed for the crusher. The yard is near Columbus Indiana and they apparently will sell parts off the cars, but not the whole thing. Looks like some usable fe…

9.25 Ring Gear Interchange

I have a B-Body 9.25 rear end in my 72 SSP with a 3.23 gear. Does anyone know if a ring and pinion out of a late model ram (2003- up) will swap in to the earlier rear? There are plenty of Rams in the junkyard and I wouldn’t mind switching to a 3.73 or 3.93 for $20 if I update to a a518 trans.

I was doing some work on my carb and realized my kickdown linkage did not let my carb go to WOT so I reset adjusted the linkage and it seems to have unmasked an issue. Now my 904 is flaring up under light throttle when shifting from 2-3. Additional thr…

Running LS Connecting Rods

Most stroker cranks have a SBC 2.100 rod journal option and I have seen plenty of articles about using SBC rods and pins in a mopar, but nothing about running an LS rod. I think they have the same rod journal and pin size as a SBC. Has anyone done that…

Window Fuzzy Repair

I bought now fuzzies for my 72 SSP, but apparently they were not high quality. I have had the car on the road for a year and they are already ripped. Does anyone know how to repair this or get the outside pieces that are better quality?
