Gas Station Pumps from the 60’s and 70’s who has restored one?

Just curious if anyone has restored a gas station pump from the 60’s or 70’s. I have the opportunity to get one maybe two and its difficult finding information on them. I think it would be awesome to have a Texaco, Sinclair or Standard/Amaco 70’s era pump in the garage!

It would appear that not a lot have been restored and the ones i find like on ebay, for some reason have the older visible gas pump toppers on them, which just looks stupid. So, if you have done one, I would be interested…

Old Mopar Ads!

Cleaning up some stuff, found these ads! One is from 1968 and one is from 1969, sorry, second one is an A Body ad, but still pretty cool. One is from news paper for local dealer and the other from a magazine.

Federal ps pump flow control valve screen replacement….

Has anyone done that on one of these pumps. There are two small rings that are compression fit to hold the screen and I don’t know where to get the screen material that would go into it. It is a very thin screen almost like fuel filter mesh. Any ideas?

Who makes a better power steering pump?

Just curious if anyone makes a better power steering pump? I have a federal, been debating about upgrading/replacing it. Ever since the rebuild, its been squeaky, its a reman pump, and I still have my original, but cant find a kit for it. I was also thinking about just switching to Saginaw pump, but I don’t know if that’s an improvement. So, was wondering if anyone can recommend a better pump?

Garage Art – you know that stuff on the walls or sitting next to your cars!!!

I have seen several posts where people show Garage Art, but I don’t think there is a thread dedicated to just garage art, not cars, but that stuff hanging on the walls or sitting in the corner or on a shelf or next to your car. You know, old signs, car parts, automotive equipment or tools, posters, etc related to cars, but not cars!

To get things started, I picked up this today at a thrift store, bought it before someone makes a clock out of it. 1940 hubcap.
