340 mains

I am in need of 318/340 main caps for my 340. The 3rd and 5th cap are not within tolerance while doing the alignment boring. Other than spending…

Neutral Safety Switch wiring

So I’m about 35% into rewiring my demon but have a simple question and a strange problem. The question is: on my wiring instructions it has the middle of the three wores on the Neutral safety switch going to the starting solenoid. But it does not tell you where to run the other two wires. I’m assuming one is for the back-up lights and one is ground: but what’s what?
And as for my strange issue: so my new harness is pretty much made for GM switches, column, ect. So I’m spliced a GM…

Mopar brakes compatibility question

Ok…so my 71 demon has 9 in drums in the front. But when I bought the car, the guy also gave me some disk brakes(upper A-arms, spindles, rotors, and calipers) that have a 5×4.5 bolt pattern from an unknown car(but to me it would seem the upper a-arms are the same). I’m looking to put some big disk brakes on this thing, but I’m having a hard time figuring out all what is compatible. Obviously the ones that say there for OEM 9in drum spindles I know would fit without changing(for example,…

4bbl carb question

So I mocked up the carb on the engine today and a potential problem occurred to me. The way the carb sits, the primaries are in front and the secondaries are in back(in relation to the engines cylinders). So I’m wondering if under full boost, the front 2 or 3 cylinders will not get their fair share of gas. I’m just figuring in a NA engine the cylinders pull the mixture in more evenly from all 4 barrels. But under boost pressure I feel like it wouldn’t disperse as evenly..anyone running a 4bbl…

knock sensor on a /6??

So I’ve been doing some extensive reading about ignition timing of engines running boost, and from what I have read, knock sensors are the way to go. Apparently the MSD ignition boxes that retard the timing “X” amount of degrees per psi of boost can give you a great top end, but a saugy middle. So my question is: can a bosch knock sensor be installed on a slant 6, and if so where would it go?
