Tires for ’68 Imperial

I currently have 225/75/R15s… but I was looking to upsize to 235/75/R15s… good idea or bad? Are they closer to the original size tires that came on the car when new?

Electric window motors…

Has anyone tried to fit one of these into a mid-to-late 60s Chrysler:

I somehow remember doing something like this years ago… with the only modification being alte…

Best Oil for ’68 440’s…

I’m sure this has been talked about before. But I’m curious as to what is the most-preferred oil out there for our original Chrysler Big Blocks. ’68 Imperial under hood shots…

While I’ve had many C-bodies in the past, this is my first Imperial, so bear that in mind. However, there are a couple of things that look out of place here. I assume this the voltage regulator, mounted on that plate on top of the inner fender? It looks factory, but does this car have factory electronic ignition then?

Also, in the second picture, what is this small black tank next to the horns for? It looks like a small vacuum tank of sorts. I’m NOT talking…

Brights not working…

The brights are not working on my ’68 Imperial I just received. It seems highly unlikely that all 4 bright elements are out. I suppose it might be the foot switch, or possibly something with the relay, but not sure…
