Hi everyone. It’s time to tackle the nasty job of axle seals, as well as a pinion seal. With all of the cheap China crap, I’m looking for advice on quality seals, as well as any tricks or pitfalls to avoid. As always, thanks to all who contribute.

Leaking fuel sending unit

Hi everyone. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I bought a new fuel tank, sending unit (Van’s) and lines (Inline Tube) for our ’66 300. Before I strapped up the tank, I installed the sending unit, centering it into the notch on the tank, put the gasket over the unit and tightened the lock ring with the proper tool. Excited, I started filling the tank. At about 16 gallons, fuel started pouring out of the bottom of the sending unit. After siphoning gas back out, I loosened the ring…

Hello Chrysler lovers. Can anyone recommend a quality replacement tank for our 66 300 2 dr H/T w/ a 440? Car wouldn’t start, so I removed fittings to the fuel pump and nothing came out. I stuck a hose down the filler neck and it came back wet and RUSTY! The fuel gauge quit working some time ago, so I need a recommendation on a quality sending unit as well. I’ve reached to Chrysler for warranty info, but I’ve yet to hear back. :realcrazy:
