Hey folks,
Does a walkthrough/video for an E body home alignement exist? Is it any different from other torsion bar suspensions? I’m seeing results for A & B body, but not here. I have a fancy alignment shop, but it’s far and I need to drive it there, and I want to dial it in before anyways. Tire Talk! I’m coming near the end of my suspension overhaul and it’s time to order rubber (Wait do they make graphite injected polyeurethane tires?).
Tirerack stats say the Coopers are superior. Some outfit back east called Mavis Tire says the opposite (as in stats show the Hankooks superior (except both say the hankooks are better in snow, which my tires will never see)). There is not a lot of stat’s to be found to go off…

Super Heavy Torsion Bars?
Ok, I have got down to Firm Feel & Sway Away as best options with the new(er) crowd of really beefy bars, with clocking to offset such performance. $395 vs $339. I called Sway Away, the tech told me don’t install their 1.24 or 1.20 foot pounds per inch torsion bars, those are race application for perfect pavement, they will cause the vehicle to skip when encountering a bump. Luggage Rack Questions!
Hello All,
When I bought my 71 Barracuda, the seller gave me a decklid he had intended on adding a wing with. I am one of those luggage rack wierdos…
Soon I must repair a rusted out panel behind the door, have paint blended over the top to cover treated rust spots (no I can absolutely not afford a full paint job), and I’ll have the decklid painted B7 to match the car.
Does anyone see any pitfalls with this decklid? What luggage rack would I want? I’m seeing a lot of negative reviews…
71 318/a904LA pan cooler lines &..
Hi all, my 71 Barracuda has a leaky tranny pan (one sealing section has a gouge, and the whole surface apparently is not flat enough, and I beat the crap out of the bolt holes). The cooler lines are “extended” with a 4″ section of rubber tube (from the last owner). All attempts to stop the leaking have failed. Does anyone know where I can find the proper replacement tranny pan for the A-904-LA? And also the proper transmission cooler lines for a ’71 Barracuda with 318 with the small original…
