1978 Aspen R/T 318 4 speed

After careful consideration and a lot of poking with a screwdriver, I’ve decided I have to replace the frame rails instead of repairing them. Looks like it’s time to drop the k-frame. Any hints or suggestions on an easier way to do this would be greatly appreciated. Also has anyone ever used the frame cap repair parts and if so would they work here.

Complete running super six motor and trans.

I have a running Super Six motor from a 1980 Volare available. Unsure of the miles but it does run. I drove the car on the trailer with it but couldn’t drive it further due to lack of brakes on the car. This will need to be picked up. I’m open to offers on this. I just hate to see it go to a junkyard. I can post pics and a video link this weekend for anyone interested.

Complete 1980 volare front clip

I have a complete front clip off a 1980 Volare. The paint is horrible and there is some surface rust but other than that they are completely solid and includes a near perfect grill with no breaks in it. I can’t ship this so whoever wants it will have the either pick it up or arrange shipping. I can meet someone within a couple hundred miles of Kansas City if that helps. fenders, hood, grill, headlight assemblies and everything else that goes with it is included. The only thing missing is the…

hood swap 78 to 80

Does anyone know if I can put a 78 hood on a 80 car without changing the grill? I like the rounded version better than the flat ones on the later volares. The grill I have is perfect and I know those are hard to come by so I’m hoping I can keep the same grill.

parts from a 1978 aspen

I’ve got many parts available that I won’t be using when I rebuild my 78 Aspen R/T. They include a complete lean-burn system with carb and manifold and a 7 1/4 rear end. Many other engine parts are also available. If anyone is interested in anything just ask. Pictures will come soon.

F body frame repair help

I’ve got what I hope is a simple question. What gauge steel do you use for frame repairs? I also need to know how the Clutch linkage hooks into the chassis. There is a bracket on the transmission but the other end was just through a hole located just above the frame in the inner fender panel.
I can post a picture of this area later if needed.
