Speedometer Gear

I ordered a new speedometer cable a couple years ago and the shop that is finishing up the work says this one won’t fit. I need the screw in style. The one I have is the Pioneer CA-3022, and I’m finding other brands with similar fittings. My car is an 88 Fifth Ave with cruise control. My tech told me there are 2 speedo cables on the car and that I need the lower cable that goes down to the transmission. The old cable should be fine for now, but it is cracked.

Found this 81 Imperial on Marketplace this morning. Located in Monroeville, PA with supposedly 56,000 miles with PA inspection good through 8-2024. No interior shots of this car were in the ad.

Holley Sniper

So my car is finally back in the shop, shop #3 that is and the guy is working on it. I ordered an external fuel pressure regulator to bypass the internal unit at the technician’s recommendation, as well as from Sniper installers on other forums and YouTube videos.

Now I’m looking at ignition systems and wondering if I’m better of going to the Mopar electronic ignition or going with this Hyperspark kit from Holley. I’m leaning towards ordering the Hyperspark kit, but wondering if there’s any…

Red 3rd brake light tower

Anybody parting out or have a local junkyard (not the Chevy dealer) with a red interior Fifth Avenue? I want to replace mine because it’s broke and tilted a little. Also, if it has decent looking opera lights, I could still use the lenses. I would like pics of what I’m paying for also. Thanks!
