Does anyone know if the 73 Chrysler color code JY3 (Honey Gold) is identical to Y3?

Hi guys,
I would like to replace the shocks on my 73 Imperial. I got the old one out (cut off). But the new one does not want to go in. I have pressed it together with cable ties, but it is too tight. Track rod and lower rubber stop I have dismantled.

Replace Vinyl 73 Imperial / How to remove door trim?
I am in the process of replacing my vinyl roof. I have removed the trim around the rear window so far. The problem now is the trim around the side windows. I can see that there are clips, but I have no idea how to release them. I’ve spent hours searching but can’t find anything.
