I have 2 Old Polara VINS that I can’t decipher the engine for

DS41G1DXXXXXX, and DS41G1DXXXXXX
From what found
D Polara
S Special
4 Door
1 Sedan
G Plant – St Louis
1 year 1971
D engine?

But I can’t figure out what the D means for engine

Anyone?

Interested in finding a 4 Door 1970 Polara. Would prefer the silver/ blue colour, but I will probably have to end up rebuilding and painting whatever I find, so let me know what you have
