Waygun revival

Now that the BoaB is fully functional it is the Waygun’s turn.
But before I get into the details,I want to share the back story of this car.
Such an oddball it is really a cool car and fun to drive.
My good buddy Ross Wooldridge (a member here) knew about this wagon and in 2007 the owner was ready to sell.
It was posted on other forums but had no bites.
The car really got my attention was it was three on the tree standard with no radio and no power steering.

Sixty footer of C’s

Took 2 days but all running cars are home.
All 3 C’s take up the whole driveway!!
It was only a matter of time that I got kicked out of my storage after the 90 year old owner passed away back in September.
He made sure before he passed that I could stay the winter.
I am gratefull the family honoured his wish stated in his will I stay till I build my garage.
Now his estate is going up for auction and the family needed the shop to set up auction.
But I was not the only one with cars on there…

It’s official..I am grounded!

No travelling this summer as I start my new job April 15th!
My hourly wage went up 6 bux an hour!
I am now a Goodyear employee Production Technician.
Benefits plus company pension.
It sucks no vacation for a year, but looking at long term, I can retire…

Bought a bunch of LED bulbs to convert Grace, my 67 Monaco 500..

Tailight emulation…a source of flattery.

Such a good design, they were bound to be copied or at least an inspiration..
My 67 Monaco 500..and modern day Audi Q5..lol
Any others out there you can think of??

Anudder Anniversary

Little did I realize until now that finishing the BoaB is roughly the same time last year Grace came into my life.
A year ago, November 4th is when I picked her up—sight unseen and drove 3 hours to home !
