Numbers Matching

I have a 1967 Charger with a 383 engine. Please advise exactly where I can see on the engine that it is numbers matching with the car. Photos would be most appreciated if available.

Calling Popeye – Help Needed with Hood Hinge Torsion Bar

All the spinach you can eat…..call now….

It finally dried up enough this afternoon to get after the hood on the 300 again. Have already tried to install the hinge on the pivot then engage the torsion bar afterward. No way. So this time I tried hoo…

Hello from Manila

I’m a relative new mopar owner and have had the luck and opportunity to own 2 mopars from it’s previous owners who had made them garage queens- a 68 440 charger and a 71 340 challenger. I’ve been in a long journey into restoring these beautiful cars and through the years, I have only been a Google lurker as I do a lot of research in restoring my cars. FBBO and FEBO are my two bibles. The amount of sharing and learning in these forums are absolutely invaluable.

’66 Chrysler Gauge Cluster

Been out working inside the car this morning while waiting for things outside to dry of a bit so I can have more quality time with the hood hinge from hell. Between the monsoon rains and overall heat and humidity the last few days, it’s like a swamp out there.

Was just running a quick check on the functionality of all things electric inside the car. Have discovered that the only thing in the gauge cluster that works is the ammeter. No idiot lights, no dash lights, no fuel gauge (the one…

Photos and Pointers Needed for Heater Control Valve Replacement

Yep, been awhile – again.

Trying to sneak in a little time to work on the ’66 Imp to tie up a few more loose ends. Have a new glove box to install but can’t do that until I replace the HCV.

And while that sounds straightforward enough and should be, I will add that my current one is, well…..there isn’t one – it’s missing. It’s still back in the 1980s somewhere. So is all the hardware. And any body gaskets or seals.

Currently in the process of sourcing a replacement, have a couple in…

Still seeking ’66 Imperial Rear Bumper

Still trying to locate a decent rear bumper for my ’66 Imp. Both pieces needed – top ‘light bar’ section and lower bumper piece.

Pretty sure the top piece is the same for ’64-’66. The lower bumper section is unique to that year due to the backup lights being added to it.

Looking for decent ‘driver’ condition. Doesn’t need to be Pebble Beach show quality, but dent/rust/gouge-free without hunks of chrome peeling off.

Located NW of Richmond, VA and willing to drive a ways or arrange…

66 Imperial Window Motor Question

Greetings crew:

Finally started back to work on my ’66 Imp this week thanks to all the time at home. Posted an update in the Members Projects forum.

One problem that cropped up involved the left rear window: it went all the way down into the door (my fault) and won’t come back up. Oddly, the front switch seems to be working backward, up is down and down is up. Back switch works right when it works.

Right now I just get a light clicking sound down in the body near the motor when I try…
