1967 Two-Spoke Wheel – Aftermarket?

Howdy,

Looking for a new OE replacement steering wheel for my ’67 Newport. Mine is a dark blue, two-spoke with horn ring, non-tilt.

All I can find for new 67 wheels are three spoke: MW742 – 1967-69 Mopar Steering Wheel; Blue ; A, B, C Body

However, I do see ’65 and ’66 two-spoke wheels: MW737 – 1965-66…

67 Newport Custom – Pot metal molding

Howdy folks,

My rolling restoration is going steady. Interior redo, paint soon. But what to do about the pot metal molding that is pitted?

I feel bad about putting all this work into the car and trim it with pitted metal. Local replating shop quoted WAY too much. These lower moldings on the Newport Custom are really hard to find. A few on eBay…most of them look about the same as mine.

I’m thinking of just putting the old pot metal on and gradually buying up NOS pieces as I can find…

My 1967 Chrysler Newport came from my hometown with the original dealer ad on the trunk lid. Paying homage to beloved car dealer (I know, a rarity), Mr. Joe Danna.

Researched the correct font and laid it out in Photoshop this evening. I think it’ll look nice once the car is repainted soon.
