Proper cleaning of engine bay – old dirt and grease
So I have years worth of dirt and grease caked in my engine bay in various places. I’ve tried the sprays and doing things by hand and it’s certainly helped but I’m just plain in need of a professional. Any suggestions of what process or place to get it all off? I’ve tried calling rental places for a heavy duty steam machine but they only have heated water sprayers. Seems like I’d need something machine related for getting in nooks and crannies with thick grease build up, not a “done by…
My 1968 newport adventure

Wiring a headlight relay
I tried to tag on to another post but figured I’d just post my own thread. I upgraded my headlights on my 68 Newport. They are very dim. I bought a headlight wiring harness with the new relays. The initial install looks easy and straight forward. I just don’t know where to plug it in to the system. I was advised follow the headlight wires back to the firewall. I did that. Not really sure what I’m looking for to disconnect. I tried searching my FSM but not sure thats the best resource for…
