Dealings with TG Motorsports, Miami Florida…?

Anyone had any dealings with “Toni” or “dragsterboy135” on ebay, from his shop “TG Motorsports LLC” from Miami, Florida?

I ordered a set of new solid lifters from him through eBay few months ago, but I was sent a box with used oily hydraulic lifters.

No reply at all, through eBay or direct email contact.
By the time the lifters got delivered here in Europe by bulkshipment in a container, I couldn’t file a complaint anymore through eBay.

The guy himself didn’t reply at all…

Chassis-dyno time

Had my Dart on the chassis-dyno again recently to find out what the engine-swap from 318 to 360ci netted me.

In short, it was 234 RWhp @ 4700rpm and about 295 ft/lbs @ 3550rpm.
About 64hp more than the previous 318 engine.

The 360ci engine also runs …

11.3cr 360ci on engine-stand

Here are some pics and info about the 360ci engine I recently put together and put on my test-stand for camshaft break-in and checking for leaks or other issues.

The engine will a replacement for the stockish 318ci in my daily driven propane-powered ’73 Dodge Dart.
The 318 has a wimpy 8.6:1 compression ratio. Not bad for put-putting around and while I managed to get some decent power out of it with a MegaSquirt ECU controlling timing, it’s still no tyre-frier.
Goal with the freshly build…

SB intake mod: Fully seperate water passage from intake runners…

Anyone ever seperated the water coolant passage from the rest of the intake manifold to run a cooler mixture?
Something like the Air Gap intake, but then fully seperate.

I don’t like the ‘coolant’ heating up the front cylinder intake passages, or the aluminium it’s part of.
Something like cutting off the water-passage part and refabbing that seperatly with tubing and a thermostat housing.

Replaced failed strutrod poly-bushing today – Took video of working suspension

Just some driving around near my garage.
Mostly flat roads with a few speedbumps halfway the clip.
At 17:22 (videotime) I do some firm braketests. See strutrod in action at the right of the screen where the bushing gets compressed.
I didn’t think it would be compressed that much but was wrong. Thinking of making larger bushings.

mid 80’s 318 mpg economy numbers…

Anyone know first hand (or 2nd hand from literature) what the average mpg was of mid ’80s (pre-roller) 318 engines?

I think the compression ratio was still down the drain in that era.
Want to compare the lousy mpg of the ’80s 318 I have in my ’73 Dart.

I would like to see a short link somewhere (similar to New Posts), where I can see a list of all the topics I’ve posted in, but that have new/unread replies (to me).

On phpBB-forums, there’s a ‘Your posts’-link that shows all topics one posted in. Topics with new/unread replies are shown in [b[Bold[/b]. Simple.

These vBulletin-forums have a similar feature, (Your content under username) but it doensn’t work as nicely as on a phpBB-forum.
