I am in need of a la 360 magnum expert. I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 360. I’m going to rebuild it. It has a bad roller cam and 4 bad roller lifters. I don’t want to spend the money for a new roller can and lifters. I would like to go back with a hydraulic flat tappet cam and lifters. Is this possible? If so do I have to change the push rods and rockers? what problems am I going to run into? Or should I just find a older la 360 and and use the magnum heads. If I do this can…

Hi Guys
Any tricks to installing a distributor in a 360 so that it lines up on no 1 spark plug wire. I can’t get it to drop in in the right position. I had to move the no 1 plug wire 2 positions to the left to make the engine run. That was clockwise 2 spots. The engine runs fine but the vacuum advance is almost pointed at the firewall.
