LA 360 Oil Pump
What normal volume small block LA 360 oil pump is made in America. Internet showes Melling m-72 is made in china. I did have problems with a M-72 Melling HV last year. Just want a good standard pump made in America.

Crank and rod bearing journal sizes standard bearings or turn crank?
Ok guys I need some engine experts. Here are my crank journal sizes. Do I need the crank turned or can I use standard bearing sizes? Crank looks pretty good to me.

Replacing power steering with Manuel steering
O.K. experts. I’m tired of fooling with power steering. what do I need to convert over to manual steering ? I know I need a manual steering sector, a manual pitman arm and what else?
Does anyone have the conversion parts they would want to sell?
The car I’m converting is a 1974 plymouth duster. Originally was a 6cyl auto. Now is a 360 v/8 727 automatic.

power steering problems
I have a 1974 duster 360 with power steering. Originally was a 6 cly and the power steering was on it originally. Every since I have owned it (14 yrs) the steering wheel will automatically turn to the right unless You hold the steering wheel in place. I have replaced the power steering pump, the pressure regulator valve on top of the steering sector. still the same problem. I’m guessing the regulator valve on top of the steering sector is allowing too much pressure. Do I need to increase…

71 New Yorker
Hi folks I just wanted some thoughts. My 71 Ny was working good than one evening it just wouldn’t start and it’s been that way for a few days now. Turns over well but just want catch. I checked the fire with a spare plug and it was firing fine not sure how bright the spark is supposed to be but there was lots of spark. Fuel going to the carb also. Question will the plug still fire if the points are done. The previous owner gave me all his spare parts he accumalated over the years not sure…
