Limited slip or full spool?

70 Sport Fury 383

I’ll be getting 3.55s put in but can’t decide whether lsd or full spool will work better for me.
A friend said my 275 rear tires are “too big” for lsd to help with traction and that a full spool is the only way to go. Spool is much cheaper as well as very strong, and I may be willing to sacrifice some low speed driveability for performance. Lsd however, would be my choice IF it is effective enough with the tires, gears and power the car will be making.

Headers for ’70 Sport Fury?

1970 Sport Fury 383

Does anyone know of good headers that would fit with minimal modification?

Any shorty headers? Or else standard/long

preferably under $500

I’m looking to get some better low-end torque which is why I would like shorty headers, however it’s hard to find any headers that would fit in a C-body without trouble. I’m sure some of the 383 headers would fit but I’m not sure exactly which, or what would work best overall.

Thanks!

Gears?

I’m looking to get the rear end in my ’70 Sport Fury 383 re-geared, any recommendations? 4:10? 4:86? Something aggressive but drivable to compliment the Edelbrock AVS2 650 going on it soon. If you also know of a good website or place to purchase them from please share.

Thanks!

4 barrel CFM

I’m looking to convert my 383 2 barrel (’70 Sport Fury) into a 4 barrel, what CFM should I go with and is the Holley Avenger a good option? Will it come with everything I need?

Radio for ’70 Fury?

I’m looking for a radio for my 1970 Sport Fury, something other than the factory AM/FM. Preferably an aftermarket classic style CD one that will fit the stock ~7.25″x2″ cutout. Seems most classic radio suppliers online don’t have C-body specific ones, maybe radios that fit other mopar body styles are compatible?
