383 Heads serial #s?
’70 Sport Fury 383
From what I could find, head serial # 2843906 (68-70 383/440 B/RB Series) is the only one my car could have. Were there any others?
Thanks
Jack it up?
’70 Sport Fury
So I’ve got the big ol adjustable shackles on their highest setting and some hijacker (or whatever brand) shocks and when I pump it up to the stance I like (higher in the rear, not much fender over tire), I’ve lost all suspension travel hahahaha.
So my question is how do folks jack up the back of their C-bodies without them riding like a dump truck? I replaced the leaf springs recently and they were slightly more heavy duty if I remember correctly, but they didn’t do much…
Dash covers?
1970 Sport Fury
Any recommendations on dash covers or pads for C-bodies?
I purchased one from DashCare Covers and while the look and material is nice, the carpet on the passenger side goes about 2 – 2.5 in too far down and covers up the wood trim entirely and nearly goes over the glovebox. Their customer service has been quite annoying, implying that I’m installing it wrong or bought the wrong product and can’t seem to understand that I’m saying the dimensions they used to create this…

Holley 750 Street Demon
MSD-style distributor & wires
40k volt coil
Howdy,
Recently installed the above-listed items. While it generally runs and performs a lot better, starting the car is a bit more unpredictable and finicky at times. Seems I’m either turning it over and over after no pump or one pump, or flooded. no in-between.
The old Carter 2bbl, if anything, was very predictable upon starting and never flooded, whereas with this Holley I’m left guessing and paranoid…
4bbl kickdown
70 Sport Fury 383
Just installed a Holley 750 street demon. Runs great but tranny kickdown is currently not working. All the parts are as far forward as possible, so I’ll need a new bracket or something. Any part recommendations?
Would this work?

Door panel disassembly
70 Sport Fury
After unclipping the notches along the bottom, how does the rest of the door panel come apart without breaking anything ?
Also where the hell does one find window channels or inner door parts for these things?
