1966 Fury VIP and 1965 Fury III parts for sale or trade
I have 2 cars which I purchased for parts which has some parts left which someone could use. Please view pics and contact me as to what you want. I have a “few” small parts removed and in storage, mostly from the white car, which if you don’t see what you need please ask. Compression drop 519 heads to 452 heads on a 65 383
I have a set of both 516 and 452 cylinder heads for my 65 383 I am building. Would like to know what the drop in compression would be if going from the stock 516’s which from what I’m told produce 10:1 compression to 452 cylinder heads (open chamber) on the same engine? I realize the hardened seat advantage and the slightly larger exhaust valves of the 452’s but I know compression equals power.
Drilled for 4 speed or not?
Can anyone please tell me what the correct measurement s for the hole in which the crankshaft is supposed to have for a 4 speed in the rear of a 383 Crankshaft? I have a rough measurement from the 383 engine which came from my 65 Sport Fury which came with a 727 automatic and the 440 which came in a 65 parts car which I purchased with all the 4 speed stuff not installed. It seems as though the 4 speed would have never worked with the 440 as it doesn’t have any hole in the crankshaft. My…
