Shorty plug part numbers for 73 340 & detonation.

Hi all, anyone got shorty sparkplug numbers for a 73 340?

Also (sorry, I know spark plug conversations are a pain) i’m running headers. When I changed plugs last time the 2 that are "boxed in" by the header (driver side rear) were very dirty…

1973 Challenger – Headlight buckets. Vendor and PN.

Looking to replace all 4 headlight buckets on my 73 Challenger. Year One has some, but the LH look much different than the RH. Any other vendors? Links or PN would be appreciated.

727 Shift Kit Question: Do I need a kickdown cable/linkage?

I’ve got a 73 Challeger i’m going to put a shift kit in (vendor recommendations welcome). It currently doesn’t have a kickdown cable/linkage (vendor recommendations welcome). Will I need one? Thanks much!

Poly/Plastic Gas Tanks – Anyone making them?

Anyone making poly/plastic replacement fuel tanks for e-bodies? The aftermarket steel/zinc ones are inexpensive enough but I like to do things once. Seems like those poly tanks would last forever.

E-Body – 3 Point Seat Belts Front and Rear?

Has anyone installed 3 point seat belts in the front and rear?
Kits for the front look like a direct bolt in. But has anyone put them in the rear?
I’ve got a 4 year old who will need a booster seat for the next 4 years and those require a 3 point harness.

Looking for links / advice. Appreciate it!

Wiper Arm Clip/Keeper

Argh…broke the little clip wire that holds the wiper arm to the rotating spline drum (sorry don’t know the correct part name).

I’ve attached a picture…any way to fix this retaining wire/clip or get it fixed? It would be cool to keep the original arm but my Challenger isn’t 100% stock so if I have to buy an aftermarket part thats ok.

(Also, any advice on how to get the arms on without breaking this wire …. is greatly appreciated LOL).

35 Years….

Hi all!

After 35 years I finally got my 1973 Dodge Challenger on my 50th Birthday!

When I was 15, my good friends sister had a 73 Challenger Rallye. Since that time, it has always been THE CAR for me. 35 years later, I found a very good “local show driver” and bought it on my 50th birthday.

1973 Rallye, 340 4BBL, 20 over, balanced, strongish cam…i’m very happy with it. I don’t plan to do much to it, i’ve got a 4 year old so my next 20 years of money is already spoken for LOL. But maybe…
