Rear lower passenger tail light was out… and the turn signal was always turning off the radio… same circuit.

Now that the top is on, it’s finally time to do the bodywork and repaint.

Came to this decision for a couple of reasons. When I did the big rehab a year and a half ago I knew I would be here. And now, with the new top on, and the interior sorted…….

Preparing for the new top has been a slow burn. Had hoped it would have been done by now.

parts ready to go:

correct cologne grain vinyl for top 5 yards.

New rear window plug and glass from a 75 imperial. Rear glass has defrost and I got the switch….

Since completing the major service in February of last year, I always thought the top hose I had the boys put in looked to be too close to the idle/tension wheel. The hose had a few cut marks, a cut wheee the puppy got into it and evidence of “shorte…

The passenger side front window had been slow of late. The other day I went to put it down and all it did was budge. Luckily it budged back up before the motor gave up the ghost.
