1970-71 dome light
I have a really nice dome light for 1970 and 1971 (for cars built up to Nov 15, 1970) Fury, Polara, Monaco, and Imperial.. The part number is 2947928. This is for cars that did not get the reading light dome.
Pretty hard to find in nice condition like this. Lens and chrome is in good shape.
I’d like to get $75 for this plus shipping.

1969 Dodge D100 – thoughts
So, I’m half considering buying this truck. Any thoughts on these in terms of reliability, parts availability? It’s got a straight 6, which I’d probably like to upgrade at at some point.
I like the patina on it. I’d probably just replace the rockers and sections of the floor and restore the interior and keep the exterior as is.
1970 disc brakes
Anyone know where I can get a stock 70 disc brake set up for my Sport Fury? Possibly interested in upgrading my front brakes.
stupid turn signal switch…grr…
Well, fried another turn signal switch on the way to work today. I guess the electric shop didn’t do a very good job in diagnosing the issue after the 1st one fried (diagnosis: switch just went bad).
I’ll be taking it back in for them to rectify the problem. At least it was a repop switch I wasn’t very happy with. Just ordered a NOS switch that is being overnighted to me. Hopefully this will get resolved this time as the switch wasn’t cheap. You’d figure a shop open since 1974 would have…
plastic cowl grille
Does the plastic cowl grille top edge go over or under the wide aluminum trim piece at the bottom of the windshield? I’m thinking it’s supposed to go under due to the wipers.
overflow question
How often does your radiator spew coolant out of the overflow hose? Seems like my car does it somewhat often. I leave a good inch or so of space in the radiator empty, so I don’t think I’m overfilling the coolant.
Not sure what others experience. Just wondering.
