2004 PT Cruiser 2.4Liter non Turbo Exhaust Manifold Bolts
Any one here know if the bolt holes in the head are blind or open to the water jacket? I’ve got one with coolant leaking seemingly from the deck/head, but the lower part of the manifold flange is stained along with one of the bolt heads. I rather not t…
Broadcast Sheet Discrepancies
I found my cars broadcast sheet under the rear seat cushion back in ’89. It’s the blue and gray photo. It shows a wheel/cover code of W25 (deep dish hubcap). A couple days ago I did some more exploring and found another build sheet tucked in the springs under the right front seat. It’s the blue and yellow pic. It clearly shows a wheel code of W23 (Chrome Road Wheels). Both sheets have my VIN clearly visible on them so this is not a case of anther cars sheet being in mine. When I got the car…
Pacifica Hybrid TV ad
Has anyone else seen this ad? I’ll freely admit I’m old and have been most definitely out of date for quite some time, but this is how the corporation wishes to present itself to the public?
I find it unbelievably crass and immature.

1973 Dodge Polara Front Fender Extensions 3672152 – 3
Found this again after many years and thought some may find it of interest. I came across this in an antique shop about 25 years ago. Price was low enough to make it foolish to leave it behind. I believe it is a mold or pattern. Are the fender extensions on the ’73 Polara die cast or fiberglass??

Vinyal Top Protectant/Preservative
What are you folks using on your tops to keep them glossy and also protect them from the sun and weather? I tried Amor-All years ago. Looked Great…got caught in the rain and ended up with an oily sheen all over the paint and glass. It washed off without damaging anything but really pissed me off. My top still looks really good because the car spends 95% of the time in the garage. I’d like to find something to use on it without risking damage to the paint and glass, or causing the top to…
Mechanic recommendation needed for Chicago area
Gentleman I’ve known for a while has a nice 59 Dodge. He asked for my help with a trans leak. Torqueflite leaking from cable adapter.
In the past I’ve been his wrench, but this time I can’t help him out. No space to work. He’s willing to pay but is far more concerned with who’s working on his car. Do any of you in the area know of anyone that’s competent?
Thanks, Dave
