Parting out a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. 4.6 V/8. All parts available cheap. (4) 95% tread p225/60/R16 tires $100. Located near south Phila, Pa.

I have two 1969 904 transmissions. The V8 one has a broken tailshaft housing and noisy plantatary’s. The /6 one is all good. Can I build one good V8 one with the parts from the /6 one?

Any one going? I am not a circle track guy but went with friends 2 years ago and found all kinds of goodies.
