Hi all I have a 1970 Coronet R/T that Im starting back on and wanted to ask a few questions on restoring the dash and cluster.
My car is a black and white interior car. The dash is black and a black console.
How do I restore the plastic dash parts?
I once was told the silver trim that runs around the dash can be redone with model paint in silver.
Is that true?
If it is true whats the best way to get this done? Im thinking of taping it off and spraying it on.
I have a crack in my dash right under the air conditon vents that will need to be fixed.
What is the best way of fixing this?
If it didnt have the crack in it I could just clean it up and wipe it down and put it back on the car. The crack will need to be fixed and then paint the dash.
