It was mentioned to me that it is a good idea to reroute this cable because in time it could snap from it not sitting correctly. So I tried to re-route it, but the thing is, if I re-route it from the gas petal it will be rubbing on an angle anyway from the gas petal to the firewall because it would be sitting on a funny angle. So either way it seems like it would have the same effect. I also already cut the cable to the stock positioning so if I need more cable I'm kind of screwed.
