Hello! This is my first post after reading the site for 3 weeks. I was given my Fathers 1970 Duster 340 4 Speed when I was 17. I raced the car with high school budget 360 I had built for my 1970 Dart Swinger. (I sold the Dart and put the engine in the Duster in 92. Car sat from 97 till about 1 month ago. ( I started it up about 3 times a month.) Anyway I opted for 273 Adjustable rockers when I did the 360 build up ( got them out of a 273 in the junk yard) They are clean but the locks seem to back off and I noticed when trying to adjust them one of the push rods is a tad longer then the rest making that impossible to adjust that rocker. I bought a stock setup off craigslist and was dissapointed in them. Take a look at the pic. I still have the 340 together stored and used the rockers off it. Engine is in great condition for 100 miles. Left shaft is galled and I think it is a gonner??? can it be smoothed out? Right is off the 340 and smooth bearing like surface.
