Starter acting up

hey,

I had my starter rebuilt about 2500 miles ago. Lately, every other time I go to start the car, it just clicks and doesn't turn over. I then try a few more times and then it will start??

Are these symtoms the starter is going bad? I don't really want to get stranded some where
