360 con rod casting #’s mix match ok?

Took my 72 360 con rods in to be re-sized, balanced and pistons pressed along with the rest of the goodies. Prior to assembly I first noticed a difference in forging appearance between rods. Closer evaluation proved 2 different total casting #’s with up to 4 variations in other letter/numbers marked on the rods. I stopped the assembly.

The rods are re-sized, balanced and pistons already pressed on.

Looks like they took some already re-sized rods they had on hand and put my kb-107’s on…
