I know this has been beat to death, it just seems I can’t find the right threads. Is there a surefire way to id an 833 tranny that will fit in soon-to-be-mine cuda. Its a 68 Formula 340 S. I really don’t want 6 transmissions in order to det one that fits. I will be getting everything pretty much new behind it. New shaft, u-joints, rear. Everything. I am in the process of cleaning up my low Compression 440. New gaskets, timing Chain and paint.

I am an absolute nube regarding cams.

This car will strickly be street and the piston is .150 in the hole running stock 452 heads that I have yet to cc.

The cam/carb/intake combo are the three things I am trying to “upgrade”
