New hurst shifter

I have a 72 dart with 4 speed. When I did the swap last year I used a set of original shifter rods, and an original shifter mechanism that I thought was in good shape. The last couple of months my shifter has gotten stuck in gear 3 times where I had to drive the car home in 3rd gear. I would then have to get under the car and disconnect the rods and get it out of gear. Despite using all new washers and clips the shifter always felt a little sloppy.

My question is does hurst make an after market shifter mechanism and rods that would work. I have the old style original 4 speed shifter handle that presses into the shifter mechanism with out bolting.

Should I also replace the shifter plates that attach to the tranny that the rods attach to. The setup I have now does not have any bushings where the shifter rod ends connect to the bottom of the shifter mechanism and no bushings where the rods connect to the plates on the tranny. Is this correct or should there be any type of bushings.
