I feel this thread belongs here. I live about 1/4 mile from my old homeplace. It's all apartments now and I hate it but comfortable also. My next door neighbor bought a 64 Sport Fury w/383/4spd in the 60's. He puttered around in it for about 10 years then parked it. It had a WILD CAM and hookers but he took the 4.56 rears out for a 2.83 gear. After he finally married ( dated her for over 10 years ) he left the car sitting at his parents house. Several years later he died from a heart attack at a very young age. After the parents died, the car was stolen and recovered. His widow had a garage built around it and it sat for another 10 years.
Last week I passed and saw his widow talking to someone about it and this week it was gone.
I love A Bodies but I hope this peice of history is brought back to life. I had been told she was saving it for his sons
and I hope she got enough to help. But most of all, I hope whoever bought it will bring it to life. I guess they were a Mopar family because I remember his dad had a long ram Desoto years ago.
