looking for 69-71 Newport…

Every few years I get the itch to resurrect one of my favorite personal cars... I had a response when I asked a few years ago, but it didnt work out. Maybe with the economic stuff going on, I cna make things easier for someone and rediscover my idea. So, here goes...

This is fairly specific item. If you have something close, drop me a note. But I'm really looking for this particular car. 1971 Chrysler Newport. Any fuselage design newport might do, but I am really looking for a '71. 4 door. Possibly might go 2dr, if you have one that fits the other criteria but is 2dr or 2dr convertible, let me know. Not sure of the paint code, but it's that olive green metallic color that all the survivor Darts seem to have originally been...lol. Black vinyl top. Green interior. A/C. Manual windows/locks. P/B, P/S and that's it. It must be rust free or very, very close. I will want lost of pics to prove this if I can't come and see it. No damage. Must be in driving condition or need very little. Engine needs to be big block originally. Motor prefered to be running/driving, but damaged or missing OK. Prefer Sure Grip, gear ratio doesnt matter. I know there is one in Massachusetts that comes to shows in northern CT. I have pics, but owner could not be found. A lot has changed in my life this past year, and I'd love to have a car to criuse in this summer. I have cash, and/or labor or parts for any project you may have to trade. So drop me a note here, or email me at Dmador@travelers.com

Thanks!
