I've been looking for a 360 around the Southern California area for about a month now, and have had a few deals and promises fall through. Couldn't find anything worth while at the local pick-a-parts, and looking on craigslist I've found a few, but no one I contact has been returning emails or phone calls. So I figured I'd try here...
I'm in Colton, CA just south of San Bernardino, and just north of Riverside, about 10 minutes away from the Speedway in Fontana. I'm looking for a 360 in rebuildable condition, or maybe running (going to rebuild it anyway no matter what). The engine will be going into my '73 duster that up until three months ago was my daily driver to and from college. Also looking for a 727 Trans in roughly the same condition. If there's anyone in the area, from San Diego to Bakersfield area, or from the Mojave to the coast who's got an extra laying around, I'd like to know about it please, and try to work out some sort of deal.
