About ready to put a 4 brl on a stock '70 318 and have hit an issue. From what I can gather, the intake port dimensions on a 318 2 brl head are about .97 x 1.95. I've got a really nice ld4b but it looks to have been gasket matched at some point. Port height is no problem but the width is a whopping 1.08 on a couple of the ports. Is this going to cause a big issue, the old slamming the bigger hose into the smaller? Or is a .13 difference not something I should worry about? Carb will be a '70 AVS if that makes any difference.
