After five years of opening up my hood with no problem, I let somebody else open the hood and they somehow managed to bend the driver's side hood hinge. I lube the hinges every year and never had a problem until now! I have a replacement, but have yet to locate these hood hinge pin clips (been looking online at restoration sites, hardware stores, etc. with no luck). I could use some sort of similar clip with some minor changes, but would like to use the correct piece if possible. Anybody have any ideas where I could locate such a clip?
