I bought a 383 from a guy who had it stored in a heavy duty plastic shipping crate. He gave me the crate to help transport my motor.. now I need to get it outta my garage.
Its a nice piece.. Its made of a heavy duty fiberglass/plastic. It is 2 pieces that bolts together with about 20 small bolts. It has slots on the bottom for a fork lift. It's probably even water tight.. THere is oil in the bottom of it.. and it hasn't leaked a drop either.
Anyway.. I will get some pics if you would like.
Its free too a good home.. just come and get it before it gets cut up.
