hi fellas, im trying to get my 383 ready to run one of these days but im now having trouble getting the power steering pump set up. i got the correct big block mounts for the saginaw pump and also the correct crank and water pump pulleys now, but im trying to use a saginaw pump from a 78 volare, but when its bolted up the pump pulley groove doesnt line up with the crank pulley groove. i think there might be different size pump shafts or something . does anybody know if the shafts differ in lengths or something. on second thought maybe the pump pulley is needing to be changed . the pump and pulley both came from a slant six motor . any ideas on this? thanks
