News is that the dakota will be replaced by a unibody vehicle....and IMHO that is stoopid.

I prefer the mid sized trucks, since I don't pull anything heavier than about 3 tons, and even then only occasionally. But the "leaders" are determined to kill off Chrysler one piece at a time....
At one time they tempted us with a small diesel engine for the dakota and half ton full size trucks, and I told myself that when that happens, I will buy a dakota diesel for what may be my last truck. But no way will I buy a unibody pickup...
