Big block 383 stock initial timing settings?

I have a 70 RR with a stock 383 only changes are a Holley 750 and Pertronix electronics distributor change over. Just wondering what anyone else is setting their timing numbers at?
Thanks!

3/8″ NPT port for temp probe switch/small block

I have an Edelbrock air gap intake manifold on my 340. Currently running an electric fan without a relay. Want to use a relay harness and threaded probe switch. I have only one 3/8″ port on the intake and I am using it for the mechanical temperature sending unit. Anywhere I can put this temp…

360 cylinder heads

I have acquired two B300 vans from the early seventies, both equipped with 360s wearing 2bbl carbies.

As the engines are surplus to my needs, and both were non-runners when acquired, I have stripped one down to free the rusted-in piston, clean up and sell. But I don’t know about the heads.

SB Mopar Eddy Victor heads- distributor length

Has anyone used the Edelbrock Victor SB Mopar heads?
Do they require a special distributor for the raised intake manifold or is there a special raised oil pump shaft/gear to make up the gap?
Thanks Mopar Brains!
