Dodge Durango Saved My Daughters Life Tonight

My daughter was involved in a rollover accident today. She was driving the wife’s Durango to the market to pick up some groceries for Thanksgiving. She is a new driver having only had her license since September. She was traveling down a two lane country road and an oncoming vehicle was speeding towards her (in the rain) and she needed to swing right quick to avoid a head on collision. scored some valve covers

Went into my buddy Harry’s speed shop looking for pinion shims and noticed a pair of dusty old valve covers. They looked like big block mopar so I went to investigate. They are a set of cal customs in beautiful condition under all the dust.

Even though cold weather shooting is getting more difficult, I’m thinking of trying to get a shot at the comet Ison, which is supposed to be visible, even to naked eye

However, sounds like “early pre dawn” is the time to see it. I’m not very enthused about that, AKA “zero dark thirty.”
