Hi, if I want to get license plates that were the original style for the year (california 1963) with my current number on it what do I need to do? is there a service to reproduce them? Or do I need to do something with the DMV? Any help would be appreciated.

After another member posted a pic of a home made tool he made I thought to start a thread showing off our home made tools. You know the ones that are usually expensive and you only use once a year. I made a few so I’ll start off with a few I made. They aren’t necessarily pretty but do the job just fine.

They used to be on e-bay all the time for $70 to your door but I haven’t seen them lately. Repop’s are running $165 and up plus shipping right now and are a little to pricey for me. What do you think?

I am in need of bushings for my drivers side door. The door “sags” a little bit after we hung it. So it is vital to get the door lined up before I weld in the new quarter panel. Can someone direct me to a source for these.

It seems to be a nice well rounded shop. I was thinking of perhaps running my car all this year,then sending them my matching numbers 69 340 for a rebuild . I think I might like to up the power output some to.It would be nice to get it back with around 360 / 370 hp. any comments…
