Best Exhaust for 1970 Challenger 340

Hey, are there any recommendations for exhaust on a 340 Challenger? Right now, I’ve got stock headers that go to cherry bombs. I’ve looked into TTI since a lot of people recommend those, but I was wondering if there were any better alternatives. I’m looking for something that will give it a good sound (Loud, choppy, maybe higher pitched than an H pipe) and could also improve the power a little.

exhaust manifolds or headers

put headers on my ’71 Challenger small block. the ends of the pipes were tight against the torsion bars on both sides. no air gap at all. friend gave me some manifolds–part #53010187 left and 186 rt side. are these good bad or ugly. I know its a matter or personal preference….Suggestions wanted—thanks, Michael ’71 challenger

Header Removal

Need help again with my 70 challenger 340 it has headers I bought it like that and now want to put the original exhaust back on. Since I didn’t install them I wanted to know are they removed from under the car or from the top. If from under do have to part of the front end out ? or the starter?

TA Mufflers

I took the exhaust down on my TA today and saw numbers on the mufflers 305 22840 was wondering if they are the original mufflers in there. Im the 3rd owner and the guy before me owned it 45 years

Header/Ground Clearance

How much clearance can I expect to gain if I switch to a set of TTI’s? Right now there is 3-1/2” between the bottom of the flange the ground.
