Well not really bolting, more like glassing. Has anybody tried to glass a pin on hood, maybe adding some support in the area of the hinge, if you removed the springs and then used a prop rod to hold the hood when open. Also this would help support the rear area and eliminate some of the lift off hood problems while having the weight savings of a lift off. I know the hood could not be removed with out some effort or possible damage but I was curious if it had been done or ever thought about. I just bought a pin on hood and this idea came to me.
